TAF Experiences from Ghana

Kassim Yakububu Al-Hassan of Water Aid in Ghana presented the experiences from Ghana after applying TAF to rope pump in Ghana. The presentation covered the detailed roles of the partners. Prior to testing two trainings were carried out firstly for the WASHTech consortium members and secondly for the regional and district participants to introduce the WASHTech project and status of the rope pump.

Generally there was a good reception of TAF, majority training participants as a tool is okay, and the process enabled them to understand the technology.

Embedding: The project has been introduced to various stakeholders at national and decentralized levels. Some of the major events are the Mole Conference, Ghana Water Week, National Level Alliance Platform.
